Ambrosia Smoothie Recipe
The concept of this smoothie originated from a freshly squeezed juice recipe. It is jam-packed with betacarotene and beyond delicious. I know sometimes children do not eat what you send them for school, so I always make a point of book-ending their days with fruit & vegetables to ensure they reach their daily requirements. This recipe has 3 different fruits, so means that you meet all your fruit requirements early. I can already hear some of you saying, wait, stop, too many fruit sugars in one meal, however, if you use full-fat milk, either dairy or plant-based and add in some fibre the release of this energy will be more sustained and slow.
